One of the things I love about my Dr is that he absolutely refuses to write religious based vaccine exemptions (he's Jewish and I've heard him school Catholics on what the Pope said about vaccines) and every anti Vax family has to sign a refusal to vaxx form for their kid to be updated every year

The problem there is that no kid wants to get shots and it doesn't matter how much you tell them it protects against worse stuff.

I think what this shows is that most people aren't actually anti-vax, they're just extremely obstinate about being asked to do anything even slightly inconvenient when they don't see an immediate benefit for themselves
