Friday is a weird mood day.

On Saturdays, I get the ICU shift. A lot of critical animals, short on staff, and minimal help outside our two person ICU team. It's the most stressful time of my week.

Friday is the only day I'm 100% off, so it makes it hard to enjoy the free time I do have.

Hate the last month and a half of uni where professors that have been dragging the entire semester suddenly get their shit together and try to cram half of the course material into like 6 classes with an exam every other week

When a best friend of two years starts ghosting ;w;

I meet someone I really relate to online, and we hit it off.

We talk regularly, become great friends, share life experiences together, and basically become part of each others' routine.

One day, for reasons unknown, I never hear off them again.

Why can I never break or escape this cycle?

Veterinary ER ICU is exhausting. It's one thing having 4 or 5 patients to tend to, but when all 4-5 of those patients are geriatric, incontinent, anxiety-ridden, and have all their vessels blown for draws because the new techs have no idea what they're doing, it makes things hellish. My back hurts.
