I was today years old when I learned GIT can resurrect a local commit I just accidentally deleted with a hard reset. Thank goodness. Maybe it’s finally time to rethink my system for “I’ll finish this in a day or two” changes that have been aging for months.
I had resisted premature optimization, but I couldn't put it off any longer.
More work to do, but over the weekend, I went from struggling 30 FPS to smooth 60 FPS (most of the time) on Steam Deck. Plus, this really improved the battery life.
