That's gorgeous. How's the music?

The Pokemon. So much Pokemon. 🤦♂️ and I don’t even have a lovely beer…

I can't believe a FIFA Peace Prize winner would do this
I’m in total despair. Can’t think about much besides the genuine madman in charge of my country. It’s debilitating.
This is the president and he’s basically saying he’s going to order genocide against the people he told ‘help is on the way’ earlier this calendar year. He’s absolutely got to be removed from office. There is a mechanism and today is without any shadow of a doubt what it is there for.
There’s a plot line in Silicon Valley where something similar happens and the only possible response is all-out attack. There’s a kind of class war atm - philistines vs artists - they despise us and will stop at nothing to take every bite of the invisibly small pie we’ve been left.
I’m in a cafe by the highway and they’re playing the divine Bettye Swan. It’s been too long since I heard her voice. One of the greatest of the greats she must be.
Foul.
New episode of Uncanny Landscapes is out now. On alls the platforms. Ben Tufnell discusses his new novel Paradise - a brilliant slice of pastoral-noir fiction inspired by his decades as a curator of contemporary landscape art in London.

Turns out there is a danger of extinction to indigenous inhabitants of the British isles, so maybe we ought to do something about it? www.theguardian.com/environment/...
People are pumping themselves with fat from corpses. That's all you need to know, man.
Today in Cronenberg.
🙏
Oh wow. Never seen that performed. This clip of @oldweirdalbion.bsky.social doing the aforementioned is something I wished I witnessed.

London Irish in full force at Stansted airport - I assume going to the match? Cockney accents and Ireland football tops today’s top style. 💚
That’s essentially an a drug habit. 😂
Is it a giant wooden horse
Love this.
If there's one thing that everyone agrees on it's that I'm on the cutting edge of hip-hop culture. Which is why Rimas e Batidas - 'A cultura hip hop e sons emergentes em português' - has written about our event Thursday night in Lisbon...

Rear window.
Such a good idea.
Fifth 'cold' of 2026. Me 'n' Thomas are on the sofa watching One Piece... there are literally >1,000 episodes of it. 🫠 What's a movie I could stand that a 10-yr-old might be interested in?
This is already one of my all-time-fav threads on this site. I'm torn between wanting to know everything and wanting to know nothing.

Strong ‘battle of Stalingrad’ energy from A.Kiedis here. Gutting a horse to keep warm etc eaten his shoes; Pervitin running low.
The headline rules.
7" of Prince Far I - Zion Call on Morpheus label. Released in 1976. Label credits Castro Brown as the producer. It is more likely self-produced by Prince Far I at Joe Gibbs studio.
Remembering Prince Far I who was born on this day in 1945.
This 7" of Zion Call is on the same rhythm as Errol Holt's Gimmie Gimmie. Prince Far I later re-voiced it as Concrete Column on his Message From The King LP...
