It’s kind of an homage to my parent’s attic, which was one of the most interesting places growing up. Something about all those forgotten things really inspired me as a kid. Most of the characters are based on real toys we had as kids with some artistic license to embellish and alter their designs!
Here’s an illustration I made for a Twisted Toys art show at @titmouseinc 🐦 next week! I call it”Escape From the Attic.” The preliminary sketch for this piece sat on my easel for years before I finally got around to finishing it for this show!
