These days I find I can only paint small groups of up to about 10 figures, otherwise my attention wanders. So skirmishy type games are perfect

Great game. Our main tactic always seemed to be to let yourself get captured so the villain could explain their fiendish plot and then we could escape and foil it. Just like the films then...

Looks great... sadly missing Warfare this year.
Needs a little plaque on one of the buildings to mark where my Uncle Archie was shot (he survived!)

We may never be the same again! Let's hope normality is restored next time and the GM goes back to his usual dice rolling style!

School trips to the Citz in the late 70s/early 80s really opened my eyes to theatre and drama. Sometimes I left baffled by a strange production, but always fascinated

Skyteam My son gave me a copy of this for Father's Day and we finally got round to trying it out at the weekend.  It's a quick (20-30 minute) 2 play...

Skyteam... possibly one of the best games I've played in a long-time.
Careful strategising and dice placement, tactics, and picking up on non-verbal cues... plays to none of my skills!!!

AI... good or bloody annoying? Of course the answer is probably both! If you've been on any wargaming related FB pages recently you can't miss the flurry of posts showing...

Jumping on the AI animating miniatures bandwagon, which seems to popping up on every FB page at the minute... good or bad, or just a bit annoying??

All done for another year... money all spent (very modestly). Lots of small-ish games and fewer of the big companies. Great to see a really diverse audience... very different to my 1st Salute back in the 80s!
