Wrote up a piece on CAPCOM’s new IP, PRAGMATA. A genuinely good TPS game that doesn’t deserve the weird looks and ire it’s been getting.

An absolute masterwork of Shigesato Itoi and his team. A harsher, more focused tale than that of EarthBound, and even if I didn't quite click with it as much as that game, it undeniably left its impact on me. The best art out there will change you, and this undoubtedly changed me.

An excellent showing for a new IP from Capcom. The combat is sublime, the art design and music are extremely up my alley. And while the story somewhat whelmed me, the friendship between Hugh and Diana lifts it up with moments that genuinely made me emotional. Great stuff.

In contention with Part 2 for my favorite. A fun slice-of-life romp for half of it, sure, but a great ensemble cast elevates it. And when the back half hits, shit gets real. Final arc is one of my favorite stretches of Jojo so far.

The rare Pari guilty pleasure, what can I say? Dumb fun with a good heart. As someone with latent eagle powers I relate to this.

Fun, gripping little "based on a true story" kinda drama. Opened my eyes to some history I didn't know and has some wild turns. Should probably rewatch it when I'm not cratering but I know it's good.
also why the fuck does Oil Man look like that.

I'm not usually against remakes, but this one kinda misses the mark. In an attempt to give it more charm, the tightness of the platforming/combat is a little compromised here, feeling a bit worse and more slippery.
Old Style mode's ok but at that point just play the OG.

A more action-y take on Mega Man with some cool level dynamics, a more DBZ-ish vibe to the art, and a killer soundtrack.
There were some levels that tested my patience but otherwise, pretty solid stuff.
It's crazy how every other modern FE game has better gameplay but they gravitate to that one like leeches because it's one of the few that has writing above a third grade level.
Nothing but contempt for people who ignore every topic that doesn't relate 100% to their tastes and people who shut down others' arguments without hearing anything they have to say.
Unrelated, remembering how much the fanbase of Fire Emblem Three Houses made me want to never touch the series again.

I know it isn't but this one feels SO underappreciated in the grand pantheon of Wes Anderson's work. Some truly inspired directorial choices, almost feels like the culmination of his work at certain points.

This one goes some places I would've never expected. Not my favorite Muppet joint but definitely an insane one for the catalog.
Kermit getting hit by a car was probably the highlight.
A sketch of my OCs Mai Nakano (right) and Queen (left). The former has her arms crossed in an annoyed expression, while the latter looks on with her eternally smiling mask, raising one hand in a conductor-like pose.
I really am just Jax this is rough lmao

Cute gothic jaunt but I feel like a tighter screenplay would've done wonders. This coulda been 20 minutes shorter.
(Also all this time all I needed to do to attract hot MILFs was to have scissors for hands? Taking notes.)

Incredibly solid popcorn cinema. Maybe it's a *little* bit too busy, and the comedy was hit-or-miss for me. But this thing is ambitious and undeniably cool when it locks in.

I'm so fucking tired man, I should just get a job that doesn't involve online networking so I can abandon my socials for good. Like I can message my friends elsewhere, put me back in retail hell idc anymore.
Before you there are two options for social media platforms. One's a right-wing cesspit with millions of people who want you dead.
The other has the the most insufferably white and privileged left-wingers who want POC/queer people to risk their lives to solve all the left's problems.

Really fun time and unexpectedly sweet. Surprised how palatable this was for me, even not knowing much of the source material.
The running gag with the flashbacks slayed me.

Definitely starts out stronger than its predecessor but crashes and burns WAY harder. Wily Machine 2 might genuinely be the worst final boss in the series but idk if that's true, or if the Genesis version made it worse. Idk. I'm tired.

People always say this series had a rough start but I beg to differ. I think it's a rather strong beginning, up until Wily Castle where things falter a little. Sure, later games did it better, but the OG really ain't too bad.
