ICYMI: @sarahsahagian.bsky.social recommends reading Jenn Jefferys investigation into how a Brampton-based company is quietly arming ICE. A must-read. #canpoli

The English have disinherited and now arrested a literal blood royal over Epstein and America can’t even get a public hearing.
The response to the #TumblerRidgeShooting from far-right media, online commentators and even an elected official in Canada is another dark example of how pervasive anti-trans misinformation has become, even in Canada.
Mel Woods writes. #bcpoli #bced
"An entire community is mourning a horrific loss in Tumbler Ridge this week ... And the dangerous links being made to trans people at large will have resounding and dangerous impacts in the months and weeks to come," writes @melwoods.me
Everyone is talking about how Crockett dunked on Bondi. Fine. But what most are missing: An AG who continues to fail to uphold the rule of law, and whose corruption keeps getting thrown back in her face, is an AG who should be removed.
If only you still had a foreign desk to, well, know these things...
There is not a lot Canadians can do about ICE, but we can ask Parliament to investigate Canadian companies doing business with them, like Hootsuite. Call or email your MP - or contact the INDU House committee MPs. Will post link below. www.theglobeandmail.com/business/art...
Polls show Americans only want to deport the bad ones … like Elon and Melania.

The United States of imprisoning children in measles-ridden concentration camps while allowing wealthy monsters to walk freely among us and run everything.
At least they’re consistent with their many, many triggers I guess
I’m sure the hungover jury duty event the angry whites put on was also great
I think it's important to assert that the government should PRESUME you are legal until there's reason to believe you are not, and by "reason," I mean more than your skin color. f the burden of proof is on you, and not on the government, that alone is an infringement on your liberty.
Image of two women speaking with each other. One has a clipboard and is in the helping profession. The other has a speech bubble that says "I'm being stalked" The caption says "What we think a disclosure sounds like..."
What it actually sounds like (with an arrow pointing to the next image in the series)
Speech bubbles with the text "I feel like I keep seeing them everywhere" "They're freaking me out" "He won't leave me alone" "He's being creepy" Stalking.ca
Stalking isn't talked about as much as other forms of violence which contributes to many victims/survivors feeling unsure or confused.
Stalking behaviour can also be really bizarre! Or can be too scary to name directly.
It's important for allies to read between the lines so you can be supportive
Decorative romantic elements like hearts with the words "Stalking is not romantic" and the subtitle Canadian Anti-Stalking Association
Stalking is not romantic ❌
Obsession is not romantic ❌
Persistence is not romantic ❌
True romance is built on consent, respect and trust - not intimidation and fear.
relatable lol
I was never a Dawson's Creek girly but I'll tell you this - I've never pronounced 'I don't want your life' without a Southern accent since 'Varsity Blues.'
“Parents that expected to see their kids walk through the door after a day at school just aren’t walking through the door,” says Bob Zimmer, who represents the B.C. riding that is home to Tumbler Ridge.

We are extremely saddened to learn about the numerous children who lost their lives to gun violence in Tumbler Ridge and Kitigan Zibi.
Our deepest condolences to those mourning in B.C. and in the Anishinaabe Nation.
