Thanks Ali! Actually it would be great to catch up at some point as I have something I’ve been working on for faith communities to run past you! 😁
This stuff MATTERS! I’m always happy to connect with people who want to make a difference - if you want to know what I do, or how we could work together, get in touch! #Safeguarding #Neurodiversity#MentalHealth #WorkingTogether #CommunityMatters ♥️
The intersection of safeguarding, neurodiversity & mental health is my big passion. To see these 3 in separate silos is to not clearly understand any of them. I want to see this being understood far more widely so that vital changes can be made to create proactively safe & inclusive communities. 🧵
On the train to Manchester today to speak at this conference tomorrow. I’m part of the National Working Group that is running the conference & I’ll be talking about my experiences of spiritual abuse & how my neurodiversity made me more vulnerable. 🧵 #SpiritualAbuse #ActuallyAutistic
Ahhhb yay, you’re here! So much friendlier over here, I’m sure you’ll soon settle in! 🫶🏼
It’s my special power! 😝
Because I promised she’d be a frequent flyer here, this was Molly last night snoozing next to me on the sofa while I watched TV. She’s a cutie!

I’m pretty new as well - moved across last week 🥰
This!!! Now that I’m deep into my deconstruction journey I realise how much not doing this had stifled me and stopped me being fully alive. And being fully alive is what we’re supposed to be!
Personally, I love this available original drawing.
I've translated Sheep into English, and English into Sheep, just for you.
Thanksgiving for friends.
Glad you made the move - I really appreciated your explanation in the email you sent everyone. Well apart from the title of the email lol! 😂
@lexbradleystow.bsky.social You’re here! 🥳💖
As a Londoner I have to disagree about not talking to strangers on the Tube! Londoners are a friendly bunch - I have loads of convos and laughs on the Tube!!!
Stop reorganising the shelves! Nothing worse on a high sensory day than having to try and find the things you usually buy. It doesn’t encourage me to try new and different things, it just sends me towards meltdown/shutdown and I leave having bought nothing.
I’ll be talking about my journey through high control religion and spiritual abuse, and how my neurodiversity added to my vulnerability in those situations. I hope my story will be useful to people there! 🫶🏼
Part of working on my talk is actually having a very quiet day, being kind to myself and taking breaks as I need. It’s not easy stuff to share but I’m so grateful for the opportunity to add my voice and share my story with a conference of people committed to real and meaningful change.
How’s your Friday going? I’ve been doing a bit of work on my talk for a conference happening next week. It’s a really timely conference given various situations that have come to light in the church lately. If you can join us, there are still a few tickets left: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/spiritual-...
🤣🤣🤣
Ahhh Greenbelt has arrived - wonderful! #fieldofdreams
Hellooooo! Fab to see you in here! 🫶🏼
Haha yep totally!!! I’m sure #coffeeshopcrawlreunited could be a thing! ☕️
Yay!!! Another of the original #ywchat peeps! I’ve found @revdancrouch.bsky.social as well 🥳
The #ywchat days were fabulous - so many lovely friendships came out of that. 😊 I’m keeping an eye out for others from then! It certainly seems much kinder here than how it had become over ‘there’!
The incredible 2024 Global DEI Conference starts today, and I’m delighted to be one of the speakers! You can catch me at 5pm talking about the intersection of neurodiversity, safeguarding and mental health, and why it’s important for businesses to understand! #DEI

There’s not loads, but I wasn’t expecting to wake up to snow! ❄️

Get. This. Book!
Seriously. It’s incredible, it’s raw, it’s honest, it’s encouraging, it’s emotional, it’s funny, it’s a game-changer. You can feel the genuine love Carrie and David have for their family and for every family who needs to hear their wisdom just pour out of the pages as you read. ❤️🩹
So glad I moved over here a few days ago - I’ve been ill all weekend and I’ve enjoyed pootling through the feeds finding favourites from the Bad Place have arrived or just relaxing in the positive atmosphere. Looking forward to engaging more! Thanks BlueSky-ers (do were have a collective name yet?)💙
YES! So true in every way.
PS That first sentence was the theme of my first ever sermon way back in the dim and distant past!
