last night at 7:23 AM, looking out the large windows at the north side of the PDX terminal. rows of mostly empty tables with large windows overlooking the north runway and vancouver, wa in the distance. long strands of ivy(?) hang overhead from a ribbed wooden ceiling.

i'm glad days are getting longer again. i don't think i used to be so sensitive to daylight but i've realized over the past few weeks i am. picture from last night towards the end of my airport shift, where i've noticed brighter evenings make the time fly.

yeah that's what i thought, so i am not sure who chose the DCC option. alexander says it should all have been billed in EUR (i wasn't there). the problem is that the rental car company didn't process the return until the day after (he was long gone, and reason for refund, tho should have been 1 day)

Ugh DCC strikes again!

It looks like this merchant charged us in USD with a DCC markup but refunded us in EUR. (Currencies confirmed on monthly statement)

I mean, the refund was 100% in error but still 😅

haha we do!! i've only seen the llamas once in person though since they're never there when i'm around (🤔🤔🤔 lol j/k just i'm never there during events and usually if they come outside of events it's midday and i'm there in the evenings)
