This is a great breakdown. And ending birthright citizenship is not the only way that this (and some prior) administrations have tried to build in a new non-citizen slave class. The expansion of H1B visas in conjunction with extreme deportation policies does the same thing.

I don't listen to Klein much anymore, but I did when he was still in the Bay Area on Vox. I saw this interview pop up and, not knowing this guy, gave it a listen.
My fucking jaw dropped to the floor.
