Someone in the same thread just said they’d love to see a Judge Dredd movie “with messaging” since the current stuff is just… pure entertainment?? Guys how do you not see it’s a critique on fascism???

Just saw someone on Reddit describe RoboCop as a brutal movie with no subtle messaging and reader let me tell you—it activated me. Listen you could argue that the messaging in that movie isn’t SUBTLE but buddy, it’s there.

I’d buy that for a dollar.

Complete non-sequitur but one day I asked @kaylahornbrook.bsky.social “don’t you remember taking a sea shanty unit in elementary school?” She then informed me that my Southern California upbringing was not the same as her midwestern one, and that I was also kinda weird!
