Have you seen the price of houses? Shaving off a bit of tax won't do anything to get people into the market. We need to block investors from gobbling up housing to rhen rent out.

Exactly this. Homes should never be for investors.

Rent control is a tough one, but I absolutely agree about breaking real estate investment firms and banning single-family home ownership by corporate entities.

You want to be a landlord? Buy or build purpose-built rentals.

So... more homes being built, current costs are still put of reach, shaving off a bit of taxes won't put them in reach, landlords will buy up the houses and rent them out at exorbitant prices, and nothing changes? Get landlords out of houses.

After buying a Medium belt, I look back at this journey of weight loss and it's weird to see it etched in the folds of leather belts. 7 inches off the waistline feels pretty good.

Yep, one of my favourite things was going to conventions, meeting new readers, and hearing how much they loved my stories.

I never made a lot of money ey at those events, and had to stop going when they doubled the price to attend because I'd lose money going... but I miss those interactions a lot

I saw the end of the rainbow the other day.

Saskatchewan is so flat that I could see the colours of the rainbow in front of a far distant farmhouse. It was pretty surreal. If it hadn't been pouring rain, I would have taken a picture of it. Instead, here it is from inside my car! 😄
