Non-artists thinking that we're more likely to help them with THEIR dream projects than to pursue our own is insulting but it's probably of deserved. We've depended on corporate megastudios and put up with so much abuse for DECADES that now the average person just assumes it's all we're capable of.

Another entry for Animation Reference of the Gods.
Listen... I've made peace with the fact furry artists are just more talented on average, but this is ridiculous.
I think it's more so that people are stuck on the marketing that this tech was introduced with.
Hype men were (and in some cases still are) selling this tech as a threat that will replace everything and everyone. People are trying to correct course but the damage has largely been done.
I've often wondered about this and I think this is the most sound theory I've heard yet.
Kind of like a social Dunning–Kruger effect.
Oh wow. thank you 🥺
Me when I animate my shitposts and cleanse the masses of their brainrot
I want to throw a parade for people who are capable of admitting they were wrong online.
Not to reward those people specifically but to celebrate and encourage that specific behaviour because god damn do we need more of it.
God DAMN Peter.
"Just a little tap" as Flash's unconsious corpse ragdolls into the crowd.
Also - reviews are for readers!!! If you're the 4th thing - a critic, your audience is not the author, it's other people. There's a place for criticism, but for the mental health for critic, audience and author alike, the twain should rarely cross imho
Happy Banging out the Tunes day make sure you bang out some tunes today
This is a call out post- we need to address Pinkie's toxic behavior (financially supporting my artistic endeavors)
I'm curious how many people on bsky can guess which place I'm talking about here.

Ok last video about the Gorillaz I swear
The cover of Twin Cities 128: Commodore C-128 User Journal. On the front illustration, a fox at a lectern looks nonplussed at his student, a computer fellow with a monitor head. The chalkboard reads: "Memory Improvement 101 with Thaddeus Fox, instructor." The image is signed T.H.E. Fox 1991, Joe Ekaito; the journal is priced $3.95 US, $4.95 CAD.
I keep finding signs of first- and second-gen furries in the pages of early computer user groups. (Source.)
For your feeds and enjoyment: a mid-90s Capcom logo animation I'd never seen before. Plays during the installation program for PC DOS Mega Man X (1995).
YES I'M STILL TALKING ABOUT GORILLAZ and I'm not going to stop until people notice so the little cool things artists DO
See I used to agree with you but now I'm starting to see pro-ai techbro calling themselves 'storytellers' which somehow feels even more perverse.
Somewhere right now someone is asking ChatGPT if it can make their image look less like AI.
In interviews even they sound surprised lol
How are the Gorillaz STILL GOING!?
