The first ‘Twillingate Stage’ was a commission for my cousin of their family stage. I loved how it turned out so much I asked permission to make another one. ‘Looking Up’ took about 49 hours to stitch, the sky was stitched first and then the trees were stitched over that. This artwork won and honourable mention at the Window Gallery’s juried exhibition in 2023 and sold at the end of 2024!
