Robin this is a genuine question: what was going on in your life when you arrived at the idea that a drastic reduction in human population was necessary?
The climate crisis is primarily a political economic problem, not a biological one. Sea levels aren't rising because of overpopulation, but because of fossil fuels. The Amazon isn't being destroyed to make way for housing, but so that profitable monocrops can be planted.
It might be fashionable to call things you disagree with fascism, but I'd urge you to think about what political solutions are implied by casting the problem as "too many humans."
That's true in the abstract, but it's not the problem we currently face. There's enough of all that for everyone multiple times over, and saying otherwise is an implicit concession to fascist logic.
Does it feel good to gloat about a guy being illegally abducted
Here's the best thing I ever read about Gene Hackman, by @rbuas.bsky.social at @flaminghydra.com

If you've read this book you know that as it stands we've been a hairsbreadth away from an unplanned nuclear warhead explosion on US soil on multiple occasions. I'm sure understaffing missile silos will prevent this from happening.
