I’d have to agree, I think. As much as I’ve found the advancement of in-game graphics and scenes to be impressive, I feel like some of the cinematic feel is lost.

I was told that about eating raw pasta. What can I say, kid me thought crunching into a stick of spaghetti was kinda compelling.

Oh it gets worse. I’m forever trying to teach someone the universal symbols for Play, Pause, Fast Forward, Rewind, etc. Like seriously, we’ve had tape decks for HOW LONG NOW?! Things get real complicated when I have to explain the difference between REW/FFWD and the ‘next/prev track’ buttons. 😖

Hell, yes. Having been subject to at least one malignant narcissist parent for decades, he wasn’t at all a surprise or able to affect me much on a personal level—once I got a handle on my C-PTSD response. ‘Grey-rock’ technique is so helpful to stay sane and capable of fighting back effectively.

It’s AI. And even still, some folks—especially kids—are absolutely going to try this and probably hurt more than a few cats and/or dogs in the process.

Huh, didn’t see that either, but it was the weird surreal cartoonishness of the cats coming down in the cardboard boxes that caught my eye. Then every instance after that, couldn’t unsee how absurdly smooth they looked, plus that ‘halo’ around them.

It’s also always aggravated me how the worst all around foods for people (i.e. poor nutritional value, too calorie dense, not filling enough) are also the *cheapest* & most convenient for people who work multiple jobs just to *eat*. Subsidize *nutritious* prepared and farmed foods, for gods sake!

Incidentally, I’ve now gotten all the kinks worked out for producing these and will be offering production services for these for other artists who are either 1) Canadians looking for a domestic option, or 2) international and wanting to sell and ship direct to customers in Canada.

I have been going gung ho on producing designs for stickers and magnetic bookmarks, with the intent of also selling wholesale with them. I am so freakin excited but also scared to death about putting my own manufactured products out there. Wish me luck!

I LOVE forget-me-nots. Grew up in a tiny Canadian town in the middle of a heavily wooded region, and they grew in profusion in our backyard every spring. Little pastel pink and blue blossoms everywhere!
