Yesterday settlers returned to Palestinian villages across the West Bank they’d attacked a day earlier to carry out more terrifying attacks. No Israeli authority acted to stop the violence before it happened despite calls for revenge circulating in settler groups:

Children in Gaza have endured - and continue to endure - brutal violations of their basic rights.
Amid the coverage of the tragic deaths, injuries, losses and suffering, UNICEF and partners engaged over 1600 children in Gaza to understand what they want, in their own voices.
Last night, Israeli forces struck a crowded tent camp west of Gaza City. Fire tore through the tents where displaced families were sheltering, turning a place that was supposed to be a refuge into another site of loss and devastation. (1/4)
Israeli settlers just established a new settlement neighborhood in Hebron in the West Bank — this is what ethnic cleansing looks like on the ground.

Screenshot of a post from an account called “Goyim Bureau of Investigation,” labeled as a parody account. The post shows a two panel meme using a man standing at a whiteboard. In the first panel, text on the board reads “The world is run by Jewish pedophiles.” In the second panel, the text reads “We need to do more than just post edgy memes. It’s time for physical removal.” The figure’s face is replaced with a skull-like cartoon with glowing red eyes and a black helmet bearing a fascist-style symbol. The post includes engagement metrics showing over 100,000 views.
Screenshot of a tweet by David Miller stating that Jeffrey Epstein was a Mossad superspy and referring to a so-called “Jewish Empire.” The tweet claims that media institutions protect Jewish power and compares mainstream media unfavorably to online influencers. Below the tweet is an embedded post from “Sneako Updates” showing a paused video clip from Piers Morgan Uncensored, with multiple commentators on screen and Sneako appearing in a smaller window. Engagement metrics show tens of thousands of views.
THREAD 🧵:
The Epstein files are real. The antisemitism they're fueling is also real.
And right now, the second part is getting almost no attention.
UNICEF is scaling up emergency learning efforts in Gaza to reach 336,000 children through its Back to Learning programme. Quotes from UNICEF Spokesperson James Elder.
UNICEF and partners are expanding ‘Back to Learning’ for hundreds of thousands of children in Gaza.
“Back to Learning isn’t then just about survival. It’s about protecting the engine of Gaza’s future.”

We mourn the victims of the mass shooting on Bondi Beach at a celebration on the first night of Chanukah, bringing darkness into a festival of lights. Our hearts go out to those attacked and their families and friends, as well as the entire Australian Jewish community.
Listen to Sh’s story from Gaza, told through Amal:
Children in Gaza, like 17-year-old Sh, have not been able to return to school. This year nearly 660,000 students will once again miss the start of the school year, their classrooms turned into rubble and daily struggles to survive. (1/2)
Every year homeless photographers are handed single-use cameras to take photos of London to turn into a calendar they can sell.
UNICEF has warned that Gaza is now the most dangerous place in the world to be a child. There is no safe corner, no promise of medical care, no proper school routine to anchor them. Childhood itself, curiosity, play, safety, has been turned upside down.

Today, Palestinian mothers are denied the ability to feed their children at all. The same systems of control, exploitation, and violence that shaped these earlier injustices enable this one.
The right to feed one’s child should not depend on the permission of an occupying power.
In July 2025, the Israeli army made survival even harder by banning all access to the sea, which means no fishing to earn a living, no fresh fish to feed families, and no swimming to cool down. (4/5)
Read these words posted online by Palestinians in Gaza. Let them horrify you. Because this reality is intolerable and it cannot continue.
As trucks of aid – food, water, medicine, and hygiene supplies – wait at the border, millions of people are hungry. Stop this catastrophe.

20 years ago London won the bid to host the games based on a promise to regenerate the area serving as a model of social inclusion. This has not happened. The key beneficiaries are professional groups. Here we set out a plan for a community led housing and employment inclusion zone on the park.
