In February 1777, General George Washington ordered the first mass immunization campaign in American history by mandating that his troops be inoculated against smallpox. He protected the Continental Army from an epidemic that was deadlier than British forces.

249 years later, we have this idiot.

Donald Trump is stuck in “no man’s land” on Iran—he doesn't want to commit to war, but he's also unwilling to make the concessions needed for a deal.

So instead, it’s delay after delay—“two weeks, two weeks”—as the crisis grows more dangerous.

The AI boom comes at a cost 😮‍💨⁣⁣
⁣Behind the AI hype is a surge in energy use, data centre expansion and growing threats to democracy.⁣ Can it still be called progress if it deepens environmental harm, surveillance, and the grip of Big Tech and autocrats on power?⁣

It must be hard. We have much more of a history of getting on the streets in the UK & striking. Although both are being clamped down by the Govt. Plus, we don’t have guns widely available. We know not all of you voted for Trump. Fingers crossed Midterms bring some hope. Take care.

Mandy passed sensitive information to Epstein. Didn’t he also have a dodgy house loan years ago? If the Tories had appointed him I think Labour would have made noises. We were promised no more sleaze and scandal. Starmer has handled this badly, I’m afraid.

He only cared about ONE thing...how it looked on TV. Enough has been said regarding the impossible healing job...not enough said about the depravity it takes to kill your followers to make good television.

I think Dominic Cummings wanted to get rid of the power of the civil service. Reform would do the same. Trump has dismantled a lot of the checks & balances that protect countries from harmful or ignorant leaders. However, you are relying on good people behind the scenes to uphold all this.

I think the government should give every 12 yr old a Nokia voucher. A simple phone to contact friends and family. That makes all kids equal. They can use the internet at school. Or at home under supervision. Kids are wasting hours scrolling and seeing awful stuff.

#Robbins Watching the enquiry this morning, which is incredible viewing, I do wonder how many of Reform would pass vetting if they won a general election!

Bad calls from Starmer: appointing Simon Case and Mandelson. We could all see it. Actually add McSweeney to that list too.

Wait a minute, is this the same Richard Tice who repeatedly called for Angela Rayner to resign over her dubious tax shenanigans? Surely not, because that would make him look like a hypocritical wanker. Oh.

There seem to be people in the UK who are prepared to roll the dice. They are actually so totally unhinged that they would vote to have no NHS , no human rights, no equality, Government corruption and greed from Reform and no ability to stop ‘small boats’. They just want to shout at asylum seekers.

It is feeling frustrated that you can’t fix things. Other people’s votes have affected you, your family etc & you are stuck with it. Our UK local elections next month, which could start us down the same route. Sending you a big hug from the UK.

Palantir on X: "Because we get asked a lot. The Technological Republic, in brief. 1. Silicon Valley owes a moral debt to the country that made its rise possible. The engineering elite of Silicon Valley has an affirmative obligation to participate in the defense of the nation. 2. We must rebel" / X Because we get asked a lot. The Technological Republic, in brief. 1. Silicon Valley owes a moral debt to the country that made its rise possible. The engineering elite of Silicon Valley has an affirmative obligation to participate in the defense of the nation. 2. We must rebel

Palantir is a menace to society. Its "Manifesto" reads like a very bad Hollywood science fiction dystopia movie.

Anyone who follows politics in the UK was going WTF! when Mandy was appointed. I am afraid Starmer is lying or stupid. For the first time in years I will not be voting Labour. He has let down Labour voters, this & his position on Gaza, & Palestine Action, are also red lines.
