yea i really hope so!! It's always sad when future entries remove features but this is just SO much removed features TAT I've already seen the same handful of scenes and convos happen so much just in 6 hours of play
so far the game is mostly repetitive convos or scenes that heavily rely on player created content (mii creation, drawing new foods/items/etc). So it's more of a dollhouse with some gameplay rather than more focus on game driven activities and scenes.
features like concert hall (this is insanely important esp to fandom), lots of activities like rap battle, judgement bay, etc etc. Married couples don't live together/sleep together, babies apparently have no gameplay. Lots of details were removed (fav colors, island ranking, etc)
Other than making custom content so far tomolife has been a lot more meh compared to the 3ds game... Might end up going back to pokopia soon v_v

Yea exactly! I think it's kind of insulting to your own culture to accept being muddled and mixed with someone else's culture. It's like agreeing with the stereotype that all Asians/asian culture is the same.
CN had mixed opinions on if they prefer the MV or the final face but they def hated the "edits" that western asian/Chinese were making of what they wanted the face to look like.
CN felt like Chinese/Asian Americans like to push slanted/squinty eyes (which is an ugly stereotype to CN ppl)
I can kind of understand CN cus if you have strong pride and knowledge of your culture you don't have to reduce yourself into a generic stereotype.
Like how "asian" restaurants are everywhere but I've never seen a "European" restaurant

I don't envy parents in today's age! I feel like back in the day most artists kind of slowly clawed their way up and knew of where they stood in their art journey/monetization. But now they just want to jump straight into copying successful ppl/monetization with no consideration of where they stand
(in case it's not clear I'm agreeing with you 100% and have personally dealt with people jumping onto things I've done because they think it's easy money)
unfortunately for a lot of the new gen artists, they never really went thru the struggle of exploring and finding their own space before diving head first into the business side of things. I personally blame all the merch artist influencers glamorizing the field and exposing it to the masses
