I really really need you guys to make a conscious rejection of generative AI tools part of your ongoing political resistance.
Don't use ChatGPT. Turn off Gemini. Don't read the AI results forced upon you at the top of Google search. Don't use AI art generators or support anyone who does. Please.
Okay, pals.
Time for action this month.
We're going to do that by funding classrooms that are specifically seeking out Black history books. These classrooms are those that are in historically underfunded communities.
These asks are from teachers whose students benefit directly.

3. Which issues will you be focusing on? (You don't need to focus on all of them?)
4. What are your news sources? How do you get the news in a way that's actionable BUT -
I do imagine (horrible as it is) that a headshot is infinitely faster & less lingeringly painful than a fiery death, given that the explosion appears to have tapered pretty quickly into a car fire (i.e., no shattered nearby windows, etc.) Also, he may not have wanted to risk surviving an explosion.
Lots of detonators have timers. Sad stuff.
I like the part in “Shoop” by Salt ‘n Pepa where she says “I swear, I stared, my niece my witness” because most songs don’t even bother to include independent third party verification of their claims.

A crude pencil drawing of a square with an animal face, two feet and a large bushy tail attached at the corners. Underneath is written "SQUARREL"
This has kept me sniggering for over 15 minutes now
Maybe before making up just-so stories about why and how the left forced the Silicon Valley bros to go hard right, you could look up the bros' personal histories, their family histories, or the entire history of ultra-rich people in general
Tweet: Diseases aren’t caused by germs. The fickle and mischievous goblin king curses us with illness
Community Note: The goblin king is not fickle. His Book of Maladies plans who will get sick hundreds of years in advance
Nadja from the TV show What We Do in the Shadows, looking at the canera with long-suffering frustration.
My face when I had to start correcting relatives about vaccines yesterday.
“reading fics is for jobless people” the best fic you’ll ever read is written by women in their 40s with incredibly successful corporate jobs that allow them to buy ungodly amounts of merch, i promise you
Large, blind bulldog in tiny dog bed
What do you mean she doesn't fit in her baby bed anymore?
Wicked was just about everything I could have wanted it to be. With just some small quibbles, I was truly enchanted.
Exactly.
In 20 days, we're probably going to find out he killed a man Reno just to watch him die, etc.
Ooooo, that's DAMN good analysis

Ex-librarian here—I'd say encouraging your followers to put in requests for books with marginalized authors/MCs and check out those books both in person and online would be best. To get books and keep them on shelves in times of scrutiny like this, there has to be a quantifiable demand for them.
resolved: people who insist that all social media sites must be places where users are constantly encountering and arguing with people over fundamental disagreement do so because their actual, real lives are echo chambers where they do not encounter any meaningful difference from day-to-day.
Solid work
