Any foreign language learner / speaker would have noticed what was happening on a linguistic level when Trump and Vance ambushed Zelenski. This excellent thread explains it very well.

Boris Pistorius, German Defence Minister, responds to Vance:

"This is not acceptable... Democracy doesn’t mean that a vociferous minority will automatically be right. They cannot decide what truth is.... I am happy to live in Europe, where democracy is defended against internal & external enemies."

A wonderful few days working with teachers from Technical University of Košice, Slovakia about how to design and run #VirtualExchange projects with partners of the Ulysseus European University. Wonderful to see how they offer seed funding to support online collaboration between partners.

Points for future discussion

* What forms of AI are utterly irredeemable – things we need fight hard against and eradicate?

* What aspects of education are utterly sacrosanct – things we need to fight hard for and protect?

* Is it possible to develop forms of AI to do different/new/hitherto unimaginable things (not just business-as-usual)?

* Is it possible to develop forms of AI that are mindful of the rich diversity of learning & teaching that exist?

* Is it possible to develop forms of educational AI that are not environmentally harmful?
