I think the whole 'multiverse' idea just started to break down what made it special for me - stakes. It's why Endgame felt so weighty and amazing. Characters and stories had ends. Now it just sort of feels like kids mashing action figures together.

Is Avengers Doomsday going to flop? I mean, I'm sure it will make hundreds of millions of dollars.
But in Hollywood terms, I have this suspicion that the MCU hasn't earned this film, and it's only going to draw in the diehards. Infinity War and Endgame might have been the peak.

I bawled at the season finale of The Pitt. I miss those characters already, especially Mel and Dayna. What a show.

Thinking about Michael Hutchence from INXS today for some reason. As a teen, he was the first man I found myself attracted to (and was deeply ashamed about it).
Years later, when I was running a nightclub, I heard about his death and cried. We played an hour's worth of INXS in tribute.
