Lord knows I’m not a constitutional scholar not even a lawyer (and I’ve yet to check in with @kateshaw.bsky.social) but a legal regime in which “you can do crimes if you’re buddies with the president or praise him publicly” is *on its face* a violation the equal protection of the laws.
You are not powerless, and he is not unstoppable. Look at, and learn from, the funding freeze and how quickly he was forced to surrender.

No one's blaming Democrats for causing this crisis, but yes, many of them are failing to meet this moment.
One Democratic senator could bring the chamber to a halt. House Dems can go to fed agencies being gutted by Musk with cameras in tow. Governors can push back. State AGs can bring lawsuits.
We are in one of the most dangerous and visible coups in American history. This is the ACTUAL 2nd Amendment moment. We are here. Somebody in power HAS to act. The American people are depending on you.

We are not crazy, Elon Musk did the Nazi salute and if Americans refuse to believe that you must have forgot that Nazis, when fleeing Germany, found their home in America.
They didn’t just come to this country — this country employed and empowered them.
i think the executive orders directing agencies to end energy efficiency regulations and open up more land to drilling and mining is so indicative of the character of the american right — in its view everything, whether people or our larger environment, is something to be exploited and dominated

Everything that Trump said and did today -- all of it -- was entirely predictable based on his campaign, character, and first term in office. If you're surprised, you were either misinformed or not informed enough.
