Tesla saved $400 million on its federal taxes by shifting billions of its U.S. profits to countries with lower tax rates.

Yes: While you paid your taxes in full, giant corporations maneuvered to pay as little as possible β€” and it’s all perfectly legal for them.

The system is rigged.

There should be a law passed, and enforced, that we will no longer have for profit prisons of any kind! Ever again! Incentivized incarceration should be a crime against humanity and should be retroactively enforced! They know what they are doing is wrong!

The Judge in my case compelled Apple to finally produce some of the EHS records for Apple's skunkworks chip fab. Here's Apple's 2019 arsine gas spill/leak risk model showing a 60lb release over 10min would create a 1 mile toxic death vapor cloud injuring/killing 5,000+ people.

I didn't vote for any of these people.

And yet, they desire power and control without accountability.

We actually needed this kind of thing, where the government can issue security certificates with specific verified information depending on what you allow. This certificate can be use by browser to identity the user.

The thing about watching American politics as an immigrant is that you never fully lose the "wait, that's actually insane" reflex.

Every day I wake up and remain astonished at things that Americans don’t even bat an eye at.

My son plays professionally in tribute shows. He has a Kemper stage mk1. That thing is pretty awesome. He has a setup for each show abd can easily switch for songs. However he switches guitars to play the Beat It solo because of the tuning required.

For me the powerful aspect of perplexity is that it uses GPT, Gemini Pro, Claude Sonet under the hood. You can let it choose the model or select the model to use.

Perplexity Perplexity is a free AI-powered answer engine that provides accurate, trusted, and real-time answers to any question.

I use perplexity.ai for just about everything. I have found it least likely to halucinate and it provides sources you can use to verify.
They launched Perplexity Computer recently and it is pretty capable.

Then this is where Apple shows its true colors. Per Apple & EPA records: ~July 27, EPA told Apple they want to see the cracks I complained about at my office, Apple suspended me Aug 4, Apple starting sealing the floor that week & finished Aug 18, day before Aug 19 EPA inspection.

In the litigation Apple repeatedly claimed that the facts underlying my protected whistleblower & labor activity were irrelevant & Apple refused to provide any docs or info about what actually happened at my office. Apple also hid it from EPA for years. We now have receipts & its very bad for Apple.

🧡 My lawsuit says Apple retaliated against me for my complaints abt the safety of my office on a triple Superfund toxic waste dump site (including with a cracked floor & history of TCE vapor intrusion) & my report got an EPA inspection). Court made Apple finally produce docs. Oh boy, you guys...

When I visited Santa Clara Square & Scott Blvd on Saturday, I went looking for the ancient, artesian Saratoga Creek that City of Santa Clara buried & hid in abandoned orchard irrigation pipes in the 80s & now calls it "stormwater". I believe I found it here, "flowing" into San Tomas Creek near 101.
