Note to self:
Sometimes sacrifices don't work. And that tells you: You needn't change yourself for others or anything.
Keep your dreams safe! Keep those 'cloudy blue afternoons & evening lights' alive!
May we all be blessed and have peace!
Tonight's to my cousin Sadia!
She had schizophrenia and was struggling with mental health! Last week she went missing and we found her in a morgue today.
Rest well and in peace my dear sister! This world was cruel to you. Rest well! Will look out for you in the skies!
New Nature article: all carbon intensity reductions (good!) have been offset by economic growth.

It's almost like perpetual growth is the root cause of, instead of the answer to, our global predicament.
I don't think it's even up for debate that artists have done FAR more for humanity than politicians could ever dream of doing.
Months back I visited a monastery in the south-east. Other Buddha statues were on the alter.
But this one was on the side standing in the dark, yet smiling!
They turned on the light for me so that I can take a photo. But I liked the Buddha in the dark. On whose smile shadows recite mystery chants.
Today would have been George Floyd’s 52nd birthday. He should be here celebrating with his loved ones.
Watched a melancholic movie - Aftersun!
Life's not always good to us and sometimes we have nowhere but emptiness to return to. And while we withdraw ourselves we become memories!
"It is the first time scientists have declared that Earth has likely reached a so-called "tipping point": a shift that could trigger massive and often permanent changes in the natural world."
Politicians' inaction in the face of the climate crisis is undermining our planet's ability to support life
"The Torah’s most repeated command is to love the stranger because we were strangers."
Rabbi Angela Buchdahl shares her experience on the phone with the gunman of the 2022 Colleyville synagogue hostage crisis in an excerpt from her forthcoming memoir.
We have truly not yet figured out how to cope with a person or institution that is "aware" of climate change, "accepts the science", but then decides to continue actively worsening it anyway
We don't even have a word or a phrase for this!

Is this because the trump administration has created an environment where they won't be able to work effectively?
I have been seeing this news everywhere.. is the situation that bad?
Really liked the content! I think you are right! Reductionism often (mistakenly) can give someone a sense of the main reason/factor, but actually all it's doing is letting go or devaluing other factors.
Dawkins might argue that gene is selfish, but I doubt if it has any feelings at all
This is so frustrating! Reversing GHG levels should be made illegal
Globally, 80% of people want their countries to take stronger climate action, and over half think about climate change daily or weekly.
Far from being split, humanity is largely united on wanting to do more.
But how can we help move the needle? Find out: go.wri.org/climate-choi...
Despite a myriad of reasons to be pessimistic about sustainability, I think we don't have any other option than keep trying!
Sure it's difficult! But nature is giving us all sorts of signals that the earth is suffering immensely! More people just have to acknowledge that!
Note to self:
Your peace is sacred! Protect it!
The meaning of life is to find your gift,
The purpose of life is to give it away.
- Picasso
This is really heartbreaking! But more importantly unfair to the planet!
Even devils get tired of carrying broken souls like mine!
- Dostoevsky
So they hand you over to silence.
- Camus
Can AI and robotics help us in many ways? I am not a Luddite — I believe they can.
But we must make sure these new technologies benefit all of us, not just a handful of billionaires.
I hope you'll take a few minutes to read my op-ed in Fox News. Let’s start the debate.
"You have it in your power to make a difference. Don't give up. There is a future for you. Do your best while you’re still on this beautiful Planet Earth that I look down upon from where I am now."
Those were Dr. Jane's last words, as released by Netflix.

Feels like it speaks a lot without saying anything! Love this kinda art!
Namo Buddhaya!
History repeats.
