New, original films that are under 90 mins and enjoyable.
Lovely day for it. Have an ice cream in Seaton Delaval.
“Over on Twitter, they’re” shhhhh. Shhh.
Shh.
The thing that really annoys me about all this Mandelson stuff is that the US Ambassador role was not vacant! There was already a highly qualified and competent woman in the position
And now this thing about finding a job for Starmer's ex Head of Comms?
Jobs for the Boys alive and well
NICE. I've done that too, it's the kind of thing that feels significant somehow when you do it!
torn between "we need to soften IP law to stop the calcification of the culture" and "we need to give the Tolkien estate the right to extrajudicially execute these clowns at will"

WNP just phoned, apologising profusely for not replying to my text message late on Friday, explaining that he's been taking his son to gymnastics competition all weekend, that he's going to get some tiles and will be with me shortly. I'd already convinced myself he wasn't coming back today.
(am I using 'flex' correctly here? Not sure of the coinage)
It's great, the last line is such a brilliant flex.
Douglas Adams, as always, saw it coming
Oh now I'm seriously tempted. Who's that written by?
"LOVING this new part-time schedule."
Personally I find sarcasm to be useful at such moments.

Photo of Pedro Pascal wearing a dark grey blazer and loosely tied necktie, paired with short blue denim jorts. He is holding some cream coloured roses in one hand and the other is over his crotch where he has suggestively tucked his index finger into his fly. You’re welcome.
I might be misreading things but it feels like the timeline could use a picture of Pedro Pascal in little shorty jorts
Listening to Pick of the Pops which is playing the singles chart from April 1987. Trying not to think about the fact that my equivalent listening in 1987 would have been music from 1948.
Oh fab, might have to give that a look
Ooh fab, where?
This is wonderful. My associate found it particularly soothing.
Oh poo, I hope a good night's sleep helps x
Yes, the relationships Emma has after her first marriage weren't mentioned, so I assume they'll be shown in flashback in a subsequent series. Emma's objection to Paula's marriage was purely because he was a Fairley.
Haha, she's awful but everyone else is far, far worse. I'm assuming there will be more.
A striped cat appears to be “yelling” at a kitten with the exact same coloring. The kitten’s eyes are wide open and their ears pinned back.
you just know somebody’s being called by their full name right now
It's a classic. For decades my sister @cabbagepatchcat.bsky.social and I have done "the fog is getting thicker," to each other. I think since we were teenagers when we saw the film.
Years ago I spent a summer evening on a wedding party boat going up and down the river and one pass under Tower Bridge coincided with it doing this. Fantastic.
