We’re in the last few months of being able to easily discern between real and AI footage.
After that, we can rely only on our priors and evaluation of source through robust epistemological enquiry. Luckily humans are really good at that…

Either way, nuance & complexity seem to be the only reliable antidotes to this ugly process. And it’s our job to train ourselves to spot BOTH the dumb parts of each gender… and conversely, to see the deep wisdom in each their highest versions.
Worse, we seem to be stacking more and more overcorrections between the two on top of one another… until… well who knows but the pendulum probably just swings off its hinges eventually.
Dumb masculinity often confuses psychopathy with strength.
Dumb femininity often confuses weakness with virtue.
Oddly enough, these loosely approximate to the two extremes of the right/left political spectrum, and it’s why it sucks when either are given too much unchecked power.
So to survive in any meaningful way, we need to reinvent a more human-centric economy that capital maximising digital agents cannot speed-run & overtake.
And as the economy becomes more and more digitised, it will be taken over by agentic Als who are faster than any human at maximising their own capital (& thus power) in that environment, and humans will become diminishingly able to influence or extract value from that economy.
Spitballing here but I suspect the economy is already a form of alien intelligence that serves itself as a primary goal & survival of humans is secondary at best.
Now that anyone can directly get paid for going viral, assume that *every post you read* is designed to hijack your brain in some way.

The fact that no MPs directly heckled this insane proposal right out the gate is extremely concerning. What this man is proposing would effectively take us back to the judicial values of the Dark Ages. But most MPs are too scared, or too brainwashed, to realise it.
Keep hearing that this is supposedly the “nice” app but so far the comment sections I’ve seen on anything remotely political is just as divisive and mean as twitter
