I use Aseprite with a mouse, and my most used resolution (for my chiptune animations which are vertical videos) is 108x192 🙂

"What software do you use to make your chiptune animations?" 🤔

Main software: Aseprite for pixel art, LSDj for chiptunes, and Shotcut for video editing.

Extras: BGB (Game Boy emulator) to run LSDj and record the chiptune, and Audacity to trim the recording and tweak the volume.
