10yo added a throttle to her robot today. Pushing up and down on the dpad sets the max power to the motors. And she figured out how to limit the value to 0-100. Some minor set backs when she forgot to account for the opposite motor orientation. #microcontrollers
Worked with my 10yo to control her robot from a bluetooth controller yesterday. She even added an emergency brake button to stop the motors immediately. And taught my 7yo to solder to add a LED to her fairy house today. After she decided that wirewrap just didn't involve enough melting of metal.
