#NoKings in San Diego today had energized, passionate, peaceful protesters in the thousands standing up for democracy. My husband and I donned monarch butterfly costumes to march in support of our Constitution, rule of law, voting rights and civil rights.
Freedom comes with responsibilities. Let us unite to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, speak for the voiceless, provide opportunities for those shackled by poverty and despair. Happy 4th of July!
