It's also kind of astounding to know that the consequences, the fines, interest and even potential jail time, for not paying that paltry amount would be far harsher than what these corporations face for environmental damage, wage theft, fraud, and even anti-trust violations.

It just dawned on me that I...a poor, disabled individual...will be paying more in taxes than 88 major corporations with billions in profit combined.

My entire family is struggling right now and being disabled compounds that struggle especially now with this admin and funding being cut from vital services that a lot of families like mine depend on. It's been one thing after another lately and we're all just doing the best we can to get by.

My dad doesn't let us visit, he usually comes to us. We knew it was going to be bad since he was asking us for help, but didn't expect it to be this bad. There's not much we could do but we're hoping what we did was enough to at least buy us time til we can find a way to get him into new housing.

The last few weeks have been kind of a whirlwind. I had to make an unexpected trip back home last week, my dad isn't too well and as if his health isn't bad enough, we were informed his home may be condemned. So, we went to see what we could do but as you can tell, it's really bad.
