The applications left me hopeful & proud for the next generation of students.

A year ago today, I walked on frozen sea ice in #antarctica for the first time, and it was one of the happiest, most surreal days of my life! Being out there with the endless ice, the clear air, and the feeling of exploring something so wild and amazing—it was pure joy.
What a wonderful planet 💙
Research papers are full of surprises, like this gem.

NASA is offering a paid internship to train the next generation of scientists for the Europa Clipper mission. Interns will work with mission team members and be hosted at their institutions. Share with your keen undergrads!
One year ago today, I experienced the magic of midnight sun for the very first time ☀️
I'm not sure when I'll go back to Antarctica, but I want to with all my heart
