4/6. Özgürlük adına sansür: Tamam, terimlerde çelişki. Ancak sansür sadece kelime ve ifadelerin yasaklanması değil. Aynı zamanda kelime ve ifadelerin insanlar tarafından görülmemesi için sözde “algoritmaların” kurnazca kullanılmasıdır (ki bu iletinin de başına gelecektir bu).

6/6. Those of you who are interested in what I have to say, can find me on BlueSky (at least for now). BlueSky may or may not be the answer, but moving there is a first step in finding (or founding) a medium for exchange of idea, which allows for freedom, equality and solidarity.

5/6. Suffering all the uninspired, moronic ads (many, if not most of them about crypto-currencies – wonder why!), almost 1 in 3 posts you see, if you do not subscribe to “premium”. The long and short of it, if you want to get rid of these, why, you have to pay Musk, who else?

4/6. Blatant toxicity. Admittedly, this is not new to twitter. Twitter was always a fertile ground for slurs, insults, insinuations, manifest slander, lynching, cancelling and doxing. But now, with Musk at the helm, there is no defense against these anymore.

3/6. Censorship in the name of freedom: OK, oxymoron. But censorship is not only prohibiting words and expressions. It is also the cunning use of so-called “algorithms”, so that these words and expressions are not seen by people (which will most probably happen to this post).

2/6. To start with: Elon Musk. I can’t stay in a platform owned and managed by a person who wholeheartedly supports one of the worst autocrats of our time and immensely profits from this support, until, of course, such time when Trump throws him away like a much-used Kleenex.

1/6. People with whom I met and exchanged words on Twitter: I am leaving this platform as of now, but not until some of you have seen these posts and, if you want, post your own reactions. Here are some of the reasons why.
