"Oh, so they shouldn't do anything if they win? They shouldn't try to pass legislation? They shouldn't try to work with Republicans to find compromise?"

They should govern exactly how Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell did when Obama was president after the 2014 midterms.

Microsoft exec suggests AI agents will need to buy software licenses, just like employees Are AI agents employees or tools? A Microsoft exec suggested they're new paid "seats," a shift that could reshape SaaS pricing — and spark pushback.

Microsoft has decided to address its declining Copilot user base and public hostility over forced job losses by asking clients to double their software budgets, that just so happens to give Microsoft more money.

I still don’t get why any IT people are okay with this gangster company.

The average person doesn’t give a fuck if AI has some niche use where it actually excels if used properly. In fact, that is what a tool is *supposed* to do and none of us will have a problem if it is used like that. What we see is AI fucking up real life in a massive way.

They still don't get it. We like Democrats better than Republicans. We often like the people running because of their messaging. We don't like the Democratic Party, its messaging, nor its power structure.

You forget the massive amounts we have to spend on insurance, rent, student loans, and healthcare (since the insurance goes out if its way to avoid ever covering anything).

Our actual take home after taxes, deductions, and other bills is effectively 0 if not negative for most people.

Nah, it will have 10,000 copies of exactly one book that Trump "wrote."

The upshot is this: The president does not

have this authority to interfere in state election processes. The new order cites to two federal voting statutes a part of Article IV of the Constitution saying that "[t]he United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government." These sources, though, do not give him authority to force states to change their election rules.

The author of this article should consider the possibility that Trump is so dumb he thinks "a Republican form of government" refers to the party and not the historical context.

When Consumer Protection Stops, Scammers Run Amok Without the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, scammers are using the affordability crisis to prey on Americans. One case study is a credit card known as Bilt.

A fintech credit card called Bilt is the subject of hundreds of complaints to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. But investigators can’t follow up. If they do, the company can report them via a tip line to get them fired. buff.ly/twAqcnP

Like, when they say Make America Great Again do they really mean Make America An East India Trading Company Holding Again? I guess MAAEITCHA isn't quite as concise as MAGA.

Sounds like bad parenting, and not social media, was the problem. Both my kiddos, 20 and 10, use social media to communicate with their friends. But I place limits on screen time and keep tabs on what they are doing online using controls that have existed since my eldest was a child.

There are already plenty of resources to keep your children off of social media. There could be better ones, but these bills should be about putting more power in the hands of parents, not restricting everyone else's access to the internet and tracking everything we do online.

Person with two kiddos across 2 generations here. Skeletal is right. Stop supporting restrictions on freedoms just because of bad parenting.

Would you also like to ban DnD, Video Games and Rock 'n Roll? Or are you smart enough to recognize that this is just the latest Satanic Panic?

Stop letting bad parenting restrict our rights.

In my mothers time it was rock 'n roll. In my time it was DnD and video games. In my eldest child's time it was internet in general. Now it is social media.

Second verse, same as the first.

Three small eggs, one light tan and two light brown, with dark brown speckles in a nest in a toolbox containing grilling tools – a metal scrubbing brush with a silver handle is visible on the top right of the nest.

Anyone know what kind of eggs these are? Our grilling toolbox was left partially opened last year and some birdy saw the opportuniy and took it.

Our best guess is maybe Blue Jay or Cardinal but there isn't a lot of room in there and I am thinking maybe a smaller bird.

Location is DFW.
