Mine is black with two sugars, & just one per day. It’s what I have with the coffee that drags me down.

It’s quite frightening to realise just how many calories are in day to day food.

Yeah … none of those surprised me. 🤣
Me on MyFitnessPal every day.
On the flip side, I got a notification on the app this morning & picked up my Xmas present to myself, only ordered online last Thursday, before the notification card was in the mailbox. Sometimes it works. Having our own post box is a definite plus.
I’ve been partaking from two different Canvent craft beer selections &, for reasons, I’ve fallen a bit behind. This does, however, mean that I’ll have plenty of good beer for Xmas Day (& through to Orthodox Xmas as well). It’ll be hot here, so lagers, Pilsners, & kolschs by day, big stouts at night.
Rather than Ambassador to the Court of St James, perhaps he’ll be the Plenipotentiary to the Secret Circle of ‘Lord’ Nigel Farage.
Good luck with that!
I need a job writing comedy. 🤣
Cue jokes about Open Pitt Mining.
From the wrong postcode to graduate from Posh Boys College to Banksia Hill.
This is my first of the year, from Mane Liquor, who curate a personalised selection. I’m still waiting for my Craft Cartel selection to arrive in Bunbury, obviously by camel train across the Nullarbor. I look forward to 2 random Russian Imperial stouts on a stinking hot day.
Whatever the opposite of nominative determinism is, this is the most egregious example.
Especially when the OP has responded to advice, suggestions, or criticism & posted a reply or explanation which alters how the first post should be read.
Coffee & poetry in @TheAtlantic is both a relaxing & stimulating way to start the day. Brain & body in gear & ready to go. #caffeinated #poetry
Harsh, but fair. 😫
Thanks for organising this congregation of like minds.
I’ll share one of my Friday arvo beers in recognition!
From King Road Brewery, near Rockingham, WA.
Maybe we should also invite one or two of Ultan’s brothers to trial, to counter homesickness.
Ripe for recruitment now, then.
I was only previously familiar with Beleek because of the pottery, thanks Antiques Roadshow!
Would Ultan Kelm fit that category?
(So many Pink Lakes!)
Esperance. I’d hate to have been one of those tourists for whom it should have been a highlight. We were there for the beaches, & to fulfil one of my bucket list places - a quick detour to Hopetoun to see if it was as described by Alan Carter in Prime Cut. Did not disappoint! 😃
Not when we were there in February. 😢
I really like those lamps, but I wouldn’t eat one.
I found this one for sale in an antiques market in Saigon, but I just couldn’t tell if it was real or repro. The price was about what a repro would cost, but then I had the issue of getting it back to Australia. So I was a coward & didn’t buy it.
Good thinking. 😃
I do not know. I’d have expected it to have some sort of official identification in the bio if it was. Might wait that one out, for now.
A collection of early 20C Art Nouveau lamps by Gallé & other designers.
I searched my photos for ‘mushroom’, & it suggested this … 🤣
He’s reached the FO stage of FABFO, & you can decide for yourself what FAB is without endangering legal proceedings.
Can you say ‘new’?
New!
Can you say ‘clear’?
Clear!
Can you say ‘nuclear’?
Nu-cu-lur!
I guess we don’t reach the critical conversational mass to tip the balance from Shitter to here until the club itself joins in.
