Escape from Wonderland A TTRPG about an uncanny amusement park and its wicked temptations, from the creators of Questlandia.

I have a thesis statement but no essay yet. I won't even know if it's a good thesis until I see the game. But here's what I'm thinking about Escape from Wonderland, Under Hollow Hills, & ilk:

The liminal becomes the numinous.

Surviving the liminal & surviving the numinous are self-identical.

Glitch ITEM 20 Unique, Magical Price 70,000 gp Usage held in 1 hands; Bulk 1 There are relics in this world that defy the natural order of things and exist in a realm that seems impossible to us. This +3 greater striking energizing longsword is adorned with a leather-wrapped handle and brass fittings at the cross guard and pommel. The blade itself is composed of an unnaturally glowing, green crystal-like material that shifts and distorts constantly. Activate [2] envision; Frequency 3 times per day; Effect Choose an empty space that you can see within 15 feet of you. You instantly travel through the material plane appearing in that space leaving behind a clone of you with the minion trait in the space you were occupying. The clone shares your stats, except that its Hit Points are equal to your current level +8. Activate [2] envision, manipulate; Effect You Strike an enemy with this weapon and simultaneously cause any active clones of you to explode in a reality shattering distortion. Creatures within a 5-foot emanation of a clone must succeed on a DC 43 Will saving throw or become Stunned 4. You are immune to the effects of this ability but your allies are not.

I just love this sword. It's badass. It's meta. It has really cool art. I dunno, I'm just proud of the things we make.
