One of, if not THE most fun project I am working on currently 💀
A graphic with a textured gray background and a pattern of small cute girly game-related icons. The text reads, “Twitter is still (somehow) a thing for game marketing, and Tamashika proves it.” At the top, a red banner says, “Go follow @vidhvatm on X.” At the bottom, two illustrated hands from the game are pointing weapons at each other—one holding a knife, the other a a gun.
A white text box with a subtle patterned background. A peach emoji 🍑 appears next to the bold red heading: “Early feedback saves your butt.” The text explains that most tweets get ignored, but one viral post can drive thousands of wishlists and sales overnight. Since you can’t predict which post will take off, Twitter only makes sense if you minimize effort.
A continuation of the previous image, with the same layout. The heading and peach emoji 🍑 are repeated. The text presents three green check-mark bullet points: ✅ Repurpose clips you’re already making. ✅ Keep it raw—polished trailers won’t hit like a snappy 10-second gameplay moment. ✅ Use it as a testing ground to see what grabs attention. The final line reinforces that most posts will go nowhere, but occasionally, one will explode.
A white text box with a magnifying frying pan emoji next to the bold red heading: “People’s attention spans are fried.” The text explains that Tamashika didn’t go viral because of deep storytelling or fancy trailers—it worked because the gameplay was clear in 15 seconds. It stresses that if a game can’t sell its core loop quickly, players will move on.
Everyone fled to Bluesky, swearing Twitter was dead. The algorithm? Messed up. Engagement? In the gutter. Musk? Still Musk.
But then Tamashika drops a 15-second gameplay clip on Twitter, goes viral, and reminds us all… yeah, that site still kinda works. Just not in any way you can predict. 1/2 🧵
Studios Stick to What’s Familiar The heading in red reads: “Studios stick to what’s familiar.” Below, black text explains that game studios rely on familiar tools and workflows, and changing mid-project is risky. At the bottom, the Unreal Engine and Unity logos are separated by a lightning bolt.
Trust Matters More Than Outreach The heading in red says, “Trust matters more than outreach.” Below, there’s an icon of a handshake in blue and red. The main text in bold blue states: “The games industry runs on reputation. Without a warm intro or credibility, cold outreach falls flat.”
Call to Action (CTA) – Engagement Slide A 3D-rendered cartoon avatar of a bearded man in a blue shirt and brown pants stands with his arms crossed, smiling. The text in red reads: “If you enjoyed this post, you know what to do.” Below, engagement prompts include “Comment” with a chat bubble icon, “Repost” with a green refresh icon, and “Like” with a pink heart. The “Turing Studio” logo is at the bottom.
Game studios rarely change their pipeline mid-project. Risk, time, & cost make switching tools unlikely. Thinking an outsider will push them out of their comfort zone? Silly. That comes from within. Cold outreach is a waste—trust, community, & inbound are where the real wins happen.
Title Slide A white background with a subtle pattern of pixelated cold calling icons. The text in bold reads: “Game Devs Don’t Reply: WHY COLD OUTREACH is a Losing Game.” “WHY COLD OUTREACH” is in large blue letters with a frosty effect, while the rest is in red.
Game Devs Ignore Sales Pitches A still from Glengarry Glen Ross featuring Alec Baldwin pointing at a chalkboard with “A Always B Be C Closing” written on it. Above the image, red text reads, “Game devs ignore sales pitches.” Below the image, smaller text states: “Good luck with Blake’s ABC and getting that coffee. Developers are bombarded with unsolicited messages. Unless it’s hyper-relevant, it’s insta-skip.”
Game Devs Find Solutions Differently A screenshot of a game engine interface (Unreal Engine), displaying a large ice block with water effects. A small video call window in the corner shows a person speaking. Above, red text reads, “Game devs find solutions differently.” Below, text explains: “It comes down to more trusted approaches,” followed by three green checkmarks listing: “Community recommendations (Discord, forums),” “Self-research (GitHub, docs, YouTube),” and “Hands-on trials (free tools, open-source).”
We’ve been doing B2B sales & marketing in the game industry for 2+ years. Hard truth: cold outreach to game devs rarely works. We’ve tested different approaches, refined messaging, tried various channels—results? Underwhelming. Devs instinctively ignore sales pitches unless they need a solution.
Respect for @playtester.io who gave us a massive bump on their platform. Things like these keep us motivated 🥲
Very thankful to be working with @knpgamestudio.bsky.social on this one.
Try the demo out, and stay tuned for more as we work on crucial updates to the game ⚔️

Last year we developed a motion-controlled endless runner for a major telecommunications company.
We have repeated it this year for Reboot Infogamer 2024. The winner got a smart watch. He wanted it so badly, that he ended up on all top 5 positions 💪
Check out last year's case study 👇
It's #WishlistWednesday y'all! Loving the vibe here so I am very eager to hear your thoughts on our game. If this trailer lights a spark of interest in you, I would love it if you supported us by wishlisting on Steam ✨
