You can now copy a Mela module and paste it as a file in Finder or as text in a text editor, then modify and paste it back into Mela as a module. LLMs can be used in the process to modify module parameters and settings.

Let's go deeper...
MIDI Delay, MIDI Channel, and MIDI Source were also improved to work well with MIDI Echo and make sophisticated MIDI delay effects easier to build.
Mela 7.5 introduces MIDI Echo, a new MIDI processor with a customisable feedback path. Each repeated MIDI event is sent through the Echo Path sublane, where it can be processed by submodules before being fed back into the next repeat.
Mela 7.5 introduces the MIDI Echo module and brings significant enhancements to many existing modules.

Mela 7.3 improves Note Pulse, making it more powerful for generating MIDI note patterns through modulation.
Mela 7.3 improves the Note Event module. Velocity now supports 0, letting you stop notes and generate note-offs via modulation for powerful note sequencing.
Great to see Mela's new preset reuse feature getting such positive feedback: "nice work", "whoa!", "very impressed", "brilliant!", "game-changer", "perfect implementation".

The module makes it easy to automate Mela parameters by simply automating MIDI CC messages that CC Modulator uses to modulate the desired parameters.
I use Logic Pro as an example, which has some unusual behaviour when it comes to parameter automation, and show how to work around it. Most importantly, I demonstrate how the CC Modulator can help in these scenarios.

In this video, I explain what parameter trees are and how some DAWs are unaware that an AUv3 plug-in can have dynamic parameters.

Check out the new features in Mela 7.2, showcasing the Unison module that makes it quick and easy to create the classic oscillator unison effect.
It processes submodules in parallel, applies built-in detune and stereo spread per voice, then sums the result with automatic level scaling for consistent gain.

Mela 7.2 is out!
It introduces Unison, a new module in Collection 5 designed for stacking oscillators to create a classic unison effect.
The Mela 7.1 update introduces Collection 5, featuring creative and essential audio modules such as Frequency Shifter for metallic and inharmonic textures, a transparent brickwall Limiter, plus new modulation tools including Slew, CC Modulator, and Mod Oscilloscope.
Learn how to create rich unison sounds in Mela by stacking oscillators quickly and easily.
Mela 7.1 Preview
Customising Arpeggiator Patterns with Modulation
v7.1 introduces a pattern indicator and new Manual mode, letting you create custom arpeggios by automating or modulating the Position parameter. The new MIDI Meter module is also showcased.
Mela 7.1 Preview: Slew and Mod Oscilloscope Modules
Version 7.1 will introduce Collection 5, bringing new modules to Mela. In this teaser, I showcase Slew and Mod Oscilloscope. Slew smooths Mod signals, while Mod Oscilloscope visualises them.
Mela Tip #14
The FM Operator module is a simple FM operator that generates a sine carrier and uses the input audio as a modulator.
Combined with the Stack, Pitch Ratio, and Feedback modules, you can easily recreate classic FM algorithms in Mela.

Mela 7.1 Preview: Frequency Shifter Module
Version 7.1 will introduce Collection 5, bringing new modules to Mela. I’ll be sharing a series of teaser videos showcasing modules from this collection. In this video, I introduce the Frequency Shifter module.
Customising the delay path lets you process the signal with any module before it feeds back into the delay, enabling creative effects such as filtered, distorted, or ring-modulated echoes.
Demo Preset: Half-Cycle Effect
Mela Tip #13
The Digital Delay module is a delay effect featuring a customisable delay path, feedback control, and ping-pong options.
