This was me with United years ago: Had a round trip flight to SFO from Italy booked (for €1400) but then realized I had to be in Austin the following week. Booking a new return flight to Austin from Italy was €1500, changing my original return flight to include Austin was an incremental €4500.

I’m not going to be at Kubecon this time around, I really wanted to but timing didn’t work out in the end.

Another thing that’s has been occupying a lot of my time on the weekends lately is following my daughter through various fencing competitions across the country. She started taking classes in July last year and went all in 😀

Something is brewing! It’s going to be a very slow roll but there are several things that are going to keep me busy this year. Watch this space 😉

I’ve been trying to stay away from social media, mostly to wait out the fallout from Trump being sworn president once again. Since the craziness is still “pedal to the metal” with no sign of slowing down, I’m considering building a bit of a bubble on here and start interacting again.

Back in the saddle after a pretty cool Christmas break. One of the highlights of the break was that I drove to Denmark and back in 4 days! First proper road trip with an EV, and no issues whatsoever. Visiting Billund and the Lego House was pretty awesome.
