Ahh ye ok, i thought that gay was definitely more used for homosexual men than anything else, so I just assumed at first that gay was exclusive to gay men atleast at the start

Ahh okok got you, aha i misunderstood a bit but yeh i understand, yeh it can be hard to change or drop a label you've identified with your whole life but if its not serving its purpose anymore then I really should just drop it or change it idk, im still just thinking

I mean gay was the word youd used to refer to a homosexual man, the same way lesbian is used for homosexual women, i kno that gay did also change to encompass any person attracted to the same sex, but i wasn aware that recently ppl use it to refer to everyone in the lgbtq community 🤔

I mean they are just words after all, it can be hard to drop a label you heavily identify with but why cant I just do that?

however if it doesn't just describe me as that and it can be interpreted as just like a broad generalisation of all the labels of the lbgt then I dont really see the point in saying im gay anymore? Idk aha just rambling

So basically Ive come to see that the word gay has been moving toward a catch all and umbrella term for anyone in the lgbt? And yeh obvi i identify with gay cause to me as it described me as a person who likes the same gender
