#TheLongDeathOfAdolfHitler spotted out in the wild in Leicester! Thank you @historyandrew.bsky.social for documenting this for me!
Thank you, Heather! 🙏
Great to see the reviews starting to come in for my book! Thank you Paul and @historytoday.com for the kind words!
Ooooh! 👀 You've got this, Alan. Last push...! 💪
A timely piece by @alanlee99.bsky.social for History Matters about the rainbow flag... (And a reminder that we're still seeking London-based scholars working in queer and/or trans* studies & willing to participate in a research roundtable @ Roehampton Uni in May. Pls get in touch if that's you!)
Congratulations, Alan! Really good to see this published.
Thank you very much for inviting me to speak about my new book! It was especially good to see so many engaged undergraduates in attendance - thank you for all your wonderful questions.
Looking forward to this event!
Good to see my little piece on Hitler's death appearing in print in today's @telegraph.co.uk!
There's a rather lovely-looking history book display @foylesforbooks.bsky.social in Waterloo Station! 👀
Had fun this morning signing my book at Southampton @waterstones.bsky.social!

At Barnes Bookshop with team @uni-roehampton.bsky.social @urlibrary.bsky.social
celebrating @carolinesharples.bsky.social’s The Long Death of Adolf Hitler. This unique cultural history, rightly and impressively, gives no visuals of him or them.Great, thoughtful work from @yalepress.bsky.social
Thank you, Heather. And to everyone else who packed out @wienerlibrary.bsky.social last night!
Thank you!
This was a brilliant course! I took it a few years ago & learned so much. It definitely informed the writing style for my new book. Thoroughly recommend!
Thank you! I hope people find it an interesting read...
Thank you! 😊
Publication day! 🥳 #TheLongDeathOfAdolfHitler is officially out now! Thank you so much to the amazing team @yalebooks.bsky.social for making this possible, to everyone who has read drafts & offered feedback along the way, and to all those who are currently buying/reading it!
😂
When your feature for @telegraph.co.uk gets saddled with a totally misleading, clickbaity title that has nothing to do with the actual theme you were asked to write about... 🤦😒 (linked, reluctantly: www.telegraph.co.uk/books/non-fi...).
A poster advertising details of the call for participants for a roundtable discussion mentioned in the post. Key details to note: The seminar will be held on-campus at the University of Roehampton. While the event will be hybrid, participants are asked to attend in-person. Current plans for the research seminar to be on a Thursday or Friday in May, but this is subject to the availability of participants. Anyone who is interested, or may know anyone they could recommend are asked to DM, and I am willing to provide my email for any inquiries here too.
Hello hello! I am looking for London-based scholars working in queer and/or trans* studies who would be willing to participate in a roundtable discussion on a research seminar being planned for May on my thesis, Symbols of Pride & the Politics of Queer Liberation. See below for more information.
Thanks, Heather!
And while people are starting to review the book, here's a little reminder about a launch event happening next week! All welcome!
Privileged to be included in this list of forthcoming #HistoryBooks from @unseenhistories.com. Thanks so much for the review!
Thank you so much for highlighting my book & giving it such a lovely review!
