Thanks to everybody who chimed in!

I arrived at the conclusion that (1) there's a lot of interesting stuff about interactions and (2) the figure I was looking for does not exist.

So, I made it myself! Here's a simple illustration of how to control for confounding in interactions:>

Does anybody have a good visualization to explain how interactions can be confounded, and why interactions require interaction controls?
@urisohn.bsky.social maybe?

(Asking because I have an idea, but want to check out what exists already before investing the effort)

Implementation of Schedule F

This is what a lot of us have been worried about.

This allows for many civil service positions to replaced with political appointees. This could include NIH institute directors and even POs.

BUT THERE IS A COMMENT PERIOD...

As a current clinical psychology PhD student (who has yet to do intership), I feel validated by the statement and fully believe in the utility of smaller incremental steps *alongside* ideas for more radical change. Compared to when I started grad school, this already seems like a notable shift.

Hi! I’m not sure, but when I experienced something similar, I pinged after a month and learned that the manuscript had been accidentally stuck in some sort of journal limbo…so I’m all for pinging sooner than that 🤷‍♀️
