They're going to run it back, we know they are.
The simplest, most direct path to improving is a coaching change. There is legitimate talent on the roster, just being utilized extremely poorly.
Would require a mid-season-Westbrook-Smallball level of pivot from this FO...but they're too stubborn.

The abnormal happens way too often this season. And at that capacity, it's in the coaching staff to diagnose and change why
Who plays better D, Bloody Sengun or Bloody Battier?
I do believe it's highlighted how stubborn he is on the offensive side though, but agreed overall. He's taken this organization to a completely different level. It's about putting the pieces together in the right way.

@bendubose.bsky.social why does it take 10+ seconds for the Rockets to get their offense going thru KD?? And they often turn it over trying to inbound too.
It's infuriating to watch and such bad offense. The defense knows exactly what we're trying to do.
As a Houston fan, this makes my eyes hurt and I'd very much welcome something else. Anything else.
He'll have some down games soon but he's converted me into a believer after this last ~5 game stretch
Had made every minute of his PT worth it for Ime
Reed
Amen
Jabari
KD
Sengun
Gonna be a fun starting line up soon.
Tari, Okogie, Adams, and DFS off the bench is an insane rotation.
And think Reed & Capela PnR is a secret weapon yet to be unlocked.
The 3pt shooting drop with Tate will be rough
No point in having a versatile roster if we get beat at our own game
Why are they overthinking and overcomplicating everything? Making it harder on ourselves
I think his most Amen Thompson game of the season on both end of the court
Udoka offense been cold since he got here. Foolish to think it'll be any different this year.
This is just a bad product to offer the world. What is the NBA doing
Biggest assist from Steven Adams was telling Amen he had a booger after he finished through contact against Chet ๐คฃ
Deploy double big to start for any team that has a big front court.
All others start Tati until DFS is healthy.
If it's a rest night for Tari or Adams, give Reed a shot to start to get him more reps
Personally, I'm only in if he and Udoka got past that awkward disconnect when Cam said he didn't know his role. Feels like that point in time may have dictated what we're seeing now. He may not be a Udoka guy, so we gotta go find someone who is while his value is high/est
Dribble penetration to the rim (& threat of it) is going to be Rockets achilles heel next year.
FVV/Reed a bit small but crafty.
Amen bulldozes but needs to finesse his handle/finishing.
Cam has the raw talent, but needs to up his D to stay on the court.
JG, while inconsistent, gave the threat.

Praying for 37yr old's health every. damn. day. ๐๐ผ
Glad to have you here
JG has notoriously been a slower developer, but he's definitely gotten better each season. Not linear progression at all but he does get better
Curious if there's a 3-team framework a little like this:
Rockets: KD, 27th pick
Suns: Claxton, Brooks, 19th pick
Nets: Cam Whitmore, 10th pick, 2027 pick back from HOU
Only viable via S&T using Tate or Jeff Green.
My hope is that Stone and co have made their offer consistent spanning back to last year to help mitigate that perception of low balling. But pride and emotions are funny in the sports world so

@bendubose.bsky.social now I'm doing the thing where I'm reading too much into Adam's IG post...didn't name the Rockets or even use a pic with him and a jersey on.
Immediately trade eligible after signing the extension ๐
Dillon + Adams + 10th pick would also be an overpay imo
Oh I think it's a very good deal. Especially if they're are in win now mode and we're shipping Dillon within conf. I personally think it should be Dillon, Reed, and 10th pick but I feel like I'm in the minority.
Jabari shadowing KD for 3 seasons would be extremely valuable, imo
If I'm Rockets FO, no way I'm giving up more than 1 of the core 7 in any scenario.
Dillon + 1 core + 10th pick + maybe a pick swap back
Above should be the max, and even then it feels too much given KD's age
