“And hard times are when a man has worked at a job for thirty years, THIRTY YEARS, and they give him a watch, kick him in the butt, and say, “Hey, a computer took your place, daddy!” That’s hard times. THAT’S HARD TIMES.”

Who is this for, Jack Reacher?
It’s April 18! You know what that means! In 1938 the world saw the first sustained appearance I one of the single greatest fictional characters to ever exist: LOIS LANE. Some other notable great chars also appeared in that same Action Comics #1. But none quite as awesome as Lois.
You know what you folks need? You need Warren Zevon covering Prince, that's what you need.

...which was, according to the album cover, "Commissioned for The Official Loch Ness Monster Exhibition."
Don't ask me, I just work here.
#FilmMusicILove Day 73. This is "Promentory" from Michael Mann's THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS. It's credited to Trevor Jones, but it's based on a song by Dougie Maclean.
tl;dr Brave was created by a guy who got kicked out of the for-profit part of Mozilla for being too for-profit and corrupt, so he created a browser that was focused around manipulating advertisements to divert the revenue and then threw several crypto scams on top of it when that failed.
Told my little Pollyanna,
There's a place for you and me
We'll go down to Transverse City
Where life is cheap and death is free
Past the condensation silos
Past the all night trauma stand
We'll be there before tomorrow
Pollyanna, take my hand
I'm hiding in Honduras
I'm a desperate man
Send lawyers, guns, and money
The shit has hit the fan
Hello; would you like to watch a 3:45 video of a woman in her basement taking you through all of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles? Of course you would.
Gettin' real tired of your shit, Kintaro. #MonarchLegacyOfMonsters
this was predictable, but i don't feel all that good about it. among other things, if she can't fly out of the country she's just gonna wind up driving more.
Lois Lane leaning on her desk, coffee in hand, papers flying about while she stands un-phased in the choas.
My variant cover for ACTION COMICS #1100!!!
This is one of my all time favorite covers.
I made it quite a while ago, not sure when it was coming out. I was thrilled and honored when I learned it was going to be released on this landmark issue of Action Comics! Whooo!

[Insert Bruno's "Please. Don't. Hurt. Me." speech from the West Wing here.]
We are one and a half years into the Presidential term OF A CONVICTED FUCKIN' FELON. THESE CHUMPS DON'T KNOW *SHIIIIIIIIIT* about winning elections.
"This is an issue of something called 'DC COMICS PRESENTS.'"
"Right? See? It's about me and Superman teaming up. I wasn't always the charming rogue I am today."
"This is ridiculous."
"Oh yeah? Check this out."
"Robin will die because the Joker wants revenge, but you can-- WHAT THE HELL?!"
The thing is, he wasn't created for that. Geoff Johns picked him up and decided that the Superboy of Earth-Prime was now a raging sociopath. (Oh, and he was a comics nerd, because who did Johns and Didio hate more than those guys?)
If AI was so great, then the tech companies wouldn’t be in its 3rd or 4th year trying to force it onto the public.
Good shit sells itself. Bullshit needs all the hype it can get.
"I mean... I have called a few fellas "Daddy" in my time... I wonder what Noah's been up to lately?"
Welp, cross History Hit off your list of documentary sources. They're looking to hire AI slopshovelers.

RFK Jr is trying to pretend he never said THIS… let’s make sure everyone sees this video, so he can’t get away with his lies!
Oh, shut up and go make another show about a mom with an Insta-perfect surface but a terrible secret in her past.
"Absolutely not, Brando. What you did to Maria Schneider was inexcusable."
#FilmMusicILove Day 72. Walter Hill's go-to composer is bluesman Ry Cooder, so naturally he tapped Cooder for his Rock & Roll Fable, STREETS OF FIRE. Here's "Tom Cody's Return."
