Also happy belated birthday dude!

First draft is for telling yourself the story, revisions are for telling your readers the story.
One of the hardest + most important things to learn as a creative. Stop waiting to make your “opus” — keep going, get better
What is a "solo developer" in 2026?
The brilliant @apthomson.bsky.social talks about Titanium Court, which began as a COVID side project and, six years later, won the IGF Grand Prize. It hits stores this week, but before you play, you can hear the full behind-the-scenes story -- no game spoilers!
I’m about 70 pages into House of Leaves. I have deciphered two hidden messages and am currently using three bookmarks.
All that is to say, it’s living up to the hype.
Less than ⏰24 HOURS⏰ until the KILN OPEN BETA (April 9-11) and you're invited! Open Steam, click "Join the Playtest," and meet us on the battlefield.🏺💥
Come sample Kiln before the game officially launches April 23 for PC, Xbox, and Playstation!
Ahead of LA Noire's 15th anniversary, I spoke with Tim Rogers @108.bsky.social!
Tim opens the hood of the game and explains how everything works. Plus, we get into the behind-the-scenes history of its dev. And Tim shares how he adapted the game into a TV-length experimental video essay/playthrough
Star Wars Outlaws continues to be very good (and photo mode is fun)
A desktop PC setup featuring a Persona 5 themed wallpaper with realtime date, weather, and Person 5 OST player
Checking out Wallpaper Engine off Steam was one of my pleasant surprises this week. My office setup gained some points, thanks in part to the built-in P5 tunes this particular wallpaper is gracing me with.
It’s so simple and yet rocks so hard. Glad you shared it, dude!
A steamy, cheesy bowl of Caccio e Pere pasta
Cooled noodles, a bowl of cheese, a bowl of pan fried pear cubes, and diced cubes actively frying in a pan.
Shoutout to @bb.wavelengths.online for the Caccio e Pere recipe! That one’s going in the favorites folder.

Picked it up on a whim and I gotta say, Star Wars Outlaws is really fun. Riding up to the equivalent of a gas station on my speeder and seeing all the little local trinkets for sale inside put a smile on my face.
Do you like spooky, dungeon-crawling, turn based AND tactics RPGs? YOU'VE NEVER PLAYED ONE BEFORE?
Well do I have the demo for you! DESCENT OF LUNARIS can be wishlisted on Steam now, and you can check out my playthrough of the demo w/ one of the devs RIGHT HERE! www.youtube.com/watch?v=igG4...
LIVE NOW hanging out with my good friend Francine on Twitch! We're checking out the demo for DESCENT OF LUNARIS, which she worked on! Come play the demo with us! twitch.tv/themilesluna
I LOVED my first day with Pokopia, but the more Pokémon I discover and more of the world I uncover, the less cozy I find it. There’s so much work to do and I’m struggling to focus on a single task! 😵💫
Surprisingly it’s really made me appreciate the size and limitations set by Animal Crossing.
Rolled credits on Requiem just after one in the morning! The narrative didn’t end up hitting the final note I was hoping for, but I can’t overstate how much fun I had.
A fantastic use of the dual protagonist structure, a buffet of novel mechanics and areas, and DELICIOUSLY bloody piles camp horror!
And the BEST hair
Leon Kennedy really does have one of the best trilogies in video games now.
View of Vesuvius looming over the Porta Nocera gateway of Pompeii with the paved road wending its way into the city. Above clouds gather and lit bright orange melting into shades of pink. The same hues illuminate the stones of Pompeii
Close up of the Nocera gateway into Pompeii drenched in pink lighting. The same hues seen on the clouds above Vesuvius in the background
No light quite like that produced against gathering clouds after a day of sunshine. The pinky-hues drenching the road paving and walls of Pompeii are magical.
Built my standard, first-night shelter into side of hill. Discovered wealthy Cyclops had hobbit hole directly under my shelter. Cyclops did not take kindly to my presence. Hobbit hole is now my basement.
Thanks for the extra square footage, my guy.
Dude I want one so baaaaad. Might have to treat myself after our game launches…
Oh Hytale IS good
It’s my final stream for a hot minute and we are gonna BEAT Ocarina of Time!

screenshot of a twitter exchange, dated Sept 23 2024: @MaliceDaFirenze: We're making a game where you play a courier rier in 13th century Mongolia. No combat, just you, the horse(s) you've tamed, bred and trained and the vast wilderness. Would you play this? (10k replies, 11k reposts, 131k likes) @doodlewhale: I would love to, as long as it can avoid woke DEI nonsense which appears unlikely as you have pronouns in your bio (shrug emoji) (337 replies, 124 reposts, 10k likes) @MaliceDaFirenze: For every comment like this, I will add one extra pronoun to the game. Happy one year anniversary to this banger tweet that got so ridiculously blown out of proportion that it got us 70k wishlists in like a day
One of the few films from the last 10 years that I think should be considered among the canon of Christmas classics. This movie had real magic.
it’s that time 👀

Just had my first 20 minute run in Sektori.
I’m gonna need to update my games of the year list.
