I don’t expect you to follow me! I just like your work.

This quilt is on its way to the Fantastic Fibers exhibition at the Yeiser, opening 18 of March. I am so thrilled to have my work included there. I applied quickly when I saw the call for entry, not quite knowing what the exhibition was. Having looked it up I am so happy and humbled to be included.

Upcykled denim in a clamshell layout made a good match with an old armchair from the fifties. It is a bit soggy since we did not glue the top to the canvas. But it’s okay anyway.

I am new here, and I can tell you that I have been obsessed with placing this particular block in a herringbone layout and playing with changing colors and directions. These are my large ones. The one in the upper right corner went to QuiltCon last year. The middle one will hang there this year.
