This is worrisome for the future of R&D.
Very cool!
Happy to share new work from #theonlylabever, lead by the phenomenal @sltai.bsky.social - who developed a tool to study the biology of ILC3s, identifying their role in controlling CSF2-dependent myeloid cells. 🤗

This is beyond reckless. It’s criminal.
A big study in JAMA last year in which 185 909 children were exposed to acetaminophen during pregnancy. Conclusion: Acetaminophen use during pregnancy was not associated with children's risk of autism, ADHD, or intellectual disability in sibling control analysis.

Trump will probably ask for a Nobel price in Physiology and Medicine for his discovery that acetaminophen causes autism. Such lies and falsehoods will cause real harm and cost lives.
Yay congratulations!!
Interesting read, and different message from most of what we hear about AI.

Important to read and share.
The stupid “chainsaw” approach will seriously undermine research and innovation and will have serious long term impact on the economy and health of American people and beyond!
Hearing more and more stories of scientists from abroad deciding not to come or to return to the U.S. I know Giulia from my PhD in Colorado. I very much understand her decision
Compelling and likely not isolated story. On a different note, I did my postdoc in Denver, CO and loved it. Different times though.
Amazing to see @virusesimmunity.bsky.social Prof. Akiko Iwasaki on that list.
The CIHR guillotine dropped earlier this morning, and it doesn’t look very promising. I hope others out there had better luck.
You didn’t bring maple cookies back from Canada?
Summer lab dinner. There’s 9 of us??!! 😱 Soon to be 8 as Sophie finished her summer internship; her first experience in a research lab. It was a great pleasure to host her.
Very nice yard!
It’s a very cool study!
Congrats! Take the win!
Research also fuels the economy. But to realize this, one needs to be a little bit forward thinking.
That was my first one. I’m local and knew some of the attendees. But I don’t work on gamma delta T cells (yet, maybe). I met some new people, but not all 😅. Poland 2027 will depend on whether I start working in these cells or not…
