Mary Jane was introduced in Amazing Spider-Man issue 42 in 1966 right? Like a DECADE before goth was even a dream. So I did God's Work and made her Goth as she was always meant to be.

Never done VA stuff but I have done acting in general. Yes, you take the scripts of monologues, and scenes you like, from something, and do it with your own touch. Reread it, read it out loud, make some notes on the "Beats" (that is to say the emotional change in your voice), and then run with it.
