As Back is English I assume he’d pursue a slander case in UK courts, where I believe a financial loss is usually a prereq of the case. So *if* his current venture were adversely affected because he was falsely accused of being Satoshi (e.g. investors pulled out) then I believe he could at least try?

If his current venture (described towards the end of the article) goes awry because he’s outed as Satoshi he could maybe sue on the grounds that a false claim about him had material consequences. On the other hand in a lawsuit they could seek the email metadata he consistently refused to share
